Job summary

Jimmy John’s into Orland Park is seeking a Shift Lead to help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The position emphasizes integrity, leadership by example, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. The Shift Lead participates in a biweekly inshop tipping pool as part of compensation.

We keep it simple and fun: bread baked every four hours, limited menu and sides, meats sliced and veggies prepped daily in house, and no fryers or grills to clean.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store.
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision.
• Willing to offer opinions and recommendations towards the store and employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager.
• Ensure the store is in exceptional order and employees perform duties properly and efficiently.
• Execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity and lead by example.
• Maintain an enthusiastic, friendly, and positive attitude.
