Job summary

Jimmy John’s in Manteno, IL is seeking a Shift Lead to run a shift, ensuring top-tier customer service and strict adherence to operating standards throughout the shift. You will guide the crew, route deliveries, supervise daily food prep, and manage opening/closing procedures while handling cash drawers with integrity.

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Ensures that every customer receives world-class customer service.
Routes deliveries and serves drivers to maximize delivery business and speed within the four walls of the restaurant.
Completes and oversees daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production).
Completes and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness. Completes daily paperwork as necessary.
Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shift.
Displays a sense of urgency in all tasks.
