Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc is hiring for a part-time Shift Lead position at our Murphy gas station in Niles, Michigan. You will provide fast, friendly service, assist customers, and help drive store performance under the Store Manager. Prior cashier experience and a reliable vehicle are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience.
• Must be 18+ years of age, with state variations for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate the cash register and ensure merchandise availability.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Help lead the team to meet performance goals and store objectives.
• Perform daily/monthly clerical tasks and training for new employees.
