Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Corpus Christi Olefins Plant to lead a high-performing shift team of Operations Technicians, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations that meet product specifications.

The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with SAP, Teams and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Typically minimum of 7 years chemical/refinery plant operations experience.
• Experience as a Step-up Supervisor or leadership role preferred.
• Familiarity with DCS operating systems.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Strong computer skills (SAP, Teams, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Develop a high performing shift team and build Operators' skills.
• Maintain knowledge of unit procedures, equipment, safety, maintenance, and quality.
• Coordinate with HSE, engineers, and managers to meet site objectives.
• Interface with maintenance, project engineering, and construction personnel on outages and projects.
• Report, investigate, and initiate corrective actions for the unit.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee housekeeping and accurate documentation of operating discipline.
