Job summary

Good Earth Markets in American Fork, UT is seeking a Shift Lead to support the store manager by leading the team across shifts and ensuring outstanding customer service, smooth workflow, and adherence to policies.

This role emphasizes coaching staff, maintaining store standards, handling POS operations, and promoting a friendly, health-minded shopping environment. Part-time or Full-time with 29–40 hours weekly, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to assist store manager in all store functions with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in standing long hours, light lifting and bending.

Responsibilities

• Support store manager and guide team during shifts to ensure excellent customer service.

• Maintain scheduling awareness, theft prevention, and shrink reduction.

Shift Lead

Job Purpose

To support the store manager and operations by leading and guiding the team during shifts, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth workflow, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in creating successand satisfaction for team members through training support and skill development.
• Assist team members in completing responsibilities accurately and efficiently in any department.
• Maintain awareness of scheduling needs, theft prevention, fraud, and shrink.
• Complete merchandising tasks to ensure product availability and freshness.
• Maintain store cleanliness and perform light janitorial tasks as needed.
• Ensure excellent customer service by cultivating genuine compassion and a desire to help people.
• Complete daily tasks that include standing for long periods, repetitive lifting, and bending.
• Utilize knowledge of computerized registers and cash handling experience effectively.
• Demonstrate customer service skills and team training abilities with attention to detail.
• Employ excellent time management and personnel management skills to optimize shift operations.
