Job summary

Good Earth Markets in Park City, UT is seeking a Grocery Team Member to support multiple store areas and deliver exceptional customer service. You may train as a cashier and cross-train across departments including produce, dairy, bulk foods, and more.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service throughout the store and assist with product questions.
• Perform cashiering responsibilities with friendliness and efficiency.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and sanitation of front-end areas.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise in departments.
• Support produce, dairy, bulk foods, freight, quality control, and scanning/inventory as assigned.
• Receive, organize, and replenish products to maintain standards.
• Perform light janitorial duties daily as assigned.

Job Purpose

As a Grocery Team Member, you will play an important role in supporting multiple areas of the store while providing exceptional customer service. Team members are hired with the opportunity to be trained as cashiers and cross-trained throughout the store, including produce, dairy, bulk foods, freight, quality control, and scanning/inventory. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, learning new skills, and being part of a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service throughout the store, including assisting customers with product questions and store navigation
• Perform cashiering responsibilities by ringing up customers with friendliness and efficiency
• Ensure the safety, cleanliness and sanitation of all front-end areas.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise in various departments
• Support produce, dairy, bulk foods, freight, quality control, and scanning/inventory functions as assigned
• Receive, organize, and replenish products to maintain department standards
• Perform light janitorial and other duties daily as assigned
