Job summary

Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill in Troy, MI is seeking a friendly Shift Lead to support all restaurant operations. You will be cross-trained in prep, grilling, serving, registering, and admin tasks, with training provided.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and superb customer service in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate is flexible, able to lead other team members, and capable of handling daily cash reconciliation and reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to cross-train across roles.

Responsibilities

• Prep recipes.
• Grilling and frying.
• Chopping.
• Serve customers on the line.
• Cleaning and washing dishes.
• Clean up after shifts.
• Open and close the store.
• Basic cash reconciliation and daily reports.
• Assist with customer issues and lead other employees.
