Job summary

Zalat Pizza seeks a hands-on Shift Lead in Irving, TX to keep the restaurant moving, support the team, and ensure pizza quality. You’ll open/close the store, direct the team during shifts, and handle customer concerns with calm leadership.

We value reliability, punctuality, and strong communication, with opportunities to advance into management. Compensation starts at $14–$16/hour with tips averaging $1.50–$4.00/hour.

• Open availability including early, late, and weekend shifts.

Our Shift Leads are hands-on leaders who know how to keep the restaurant moving, the team supported, and the pizza up to standard.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous service-industry experience required
• Pizza experience strongly preferred
• Reliable and consistently punctual
• Access to dependable transportation
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Friendly, coachable, respectful, and team-oriented
• Detail-focused and proud of your work
• Comfortable directing others and making decisions during a shift
• Able to stay calm and neutralize team stress during busy periods
• Open availability, including some opening, closing, late-night, and weekend shifts
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to stand for 6–10 hours, bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.

What You'll Do:

• Make pizzas and maintain our quality standards
