Job summary

Firehouse Subs in Boise, Idaho is seeking a ROCK STAR Shift Leader to join our team. Part-time positions are available. The Shift Leader supports the Assistant and General Managers in daily store operations, leading the team during shifts with a focus on customer experience and store integrity.

You will greet customers with a smile, maintain product and service standards, manage cash handling, and uphold food safety guidelines in a fast casual environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant and General Managers in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.

• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions following cash handling policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness, small wares, and merchandise as necessary.
• Adhere to all food safety and security guidelines.

We are looking for the next ROCK STAR leader to join our family at Firehouse Subs® Restaurant! Part-time positions are also available. Shift Leaders must understand the importance of the customer experience and understand that they are the “Face” of Firehouse Subs.They must uphold our standards and embody the servant leader mentality.

This job contributes to Firehouse Sub's success by assisting the Assistant and General Managers in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This job requires the ability to deploy team members and delegate tasks to complete daily systems and procedures with 100% integrity.

Essential Functions include:

• Responsible for customer product and service standards
• Foster an environment of team work and positivity
• Responsible for delivering an exceptional customer and store experience
• Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact
• Execute quality store operations
• Clean store, small wares, and merchandise as necessary
• Must be able to operate food preparation machinery
• Adhere to all food, safety and security guidelines
• Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies

Additional Requirements:

• Computer skills including some Microsoft software and register skills
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach through-out assigned shift
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from -10° F to 40° F
