Job summary

Batavia Container is seeking a Production Supervisor in Bedford Park, IL to oversee daily operations while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will report to the Supervisor and manage production efficiently.

Job Details

Location: American Boxboard LLC - Bedford Park, IL 60638
Salary Range: $26.00 - $32.00 Hourly
Job Shift: 2nd
Purpose: Work with supervisor for Production Department.

Reports to: Supervisor

Conditions

Work on floor to manage Production, conduct audits and resolve Quality issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Human Resources

• Enforce Safety requirements within the facility.
• Follow and support all food safety programs, policies and PPE as designated.

Administrative

• Maintain daily Production and labor inputs.
• Coordinate daily planning with Supervisor.
• Help train all non‑maintenance personnel.
• Follow machine cleaning and zone housekeeping procedures throughout the plant.
• Serve on the Safety Committee.

Work Focus

• Flexible hours to accomplish required objectives.
• Regularly review progress with the Supervisor.
• Preserve the safety and integrity of the Company.
• Lead employees toward continuous improvement in systems, equipment and performance.

Perform all other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
