Taco Bell in California is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations on a busy shift, ensuring friendly service and safe, quality food. You will support the Restaurant General Manager by running great shifts and guiding team members to uphold Taco Bell standards.

You will own problem-solving, communicate openly with management about concerns, train staff, monitor cleanliness and safety, and help with deposits and scheduling feedback. Flexible hours expected.

Qualificações

• 6 months+ experience in food or customer service with shift responsibilities.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining food safety.

Job Summary:

The Shift Manager is responsible for making sure team members complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner. You will also ensure that the restaurant is a safe place for team members to work and customers to visit. You support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by running great work shifts and meeting Taco Bell standards. You take ownership and responsibility to solve problems, seek help when needed and are willing to help and guide others.

Essential Duties:

• Assists customers by taking orders, processing sales and monies, and responding to customer requests.
• Resolves customer complaints quickly and with a smile.
• Trains and motivates team members. Ensures speed of service standards are maintained throughout shift.
• Prepares food products and maintains quality of product to meet company standards.
• Monitor all service equipment.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment including parking lot, building exterior, dumpster and sidewalks, and removal of trash within containers to proper dumpster site(s).
• Communicate openly and honestly with Restaurant Management about operational issues and concerns.
• Ensures food levels are maintained to meet business needs and stocks as needed.
• Builds team moral through recognition and motivation efforts.
• Prepares deposits, providing feedback on schedules, product projections, financials for store manager's review/approval
• Ensures staff are complying with all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education/Experience:

At least 6 months' work experience in a food or customer service position with responsibility for running a shift. High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

18 years old or older

Legal right to work in the United States.

Able to lift 10-40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, stand and walk for long periods.

Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
