OPmobility is seeking a Site Manufacturing Paint Process Technician in Anderson, SC to manage the paint production line, monitor quality, and optimize consumption while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree required (industrial preferred).
  • Experience with robotics and paint processes.
  • Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Deploys paint standards during production shift.
  • Starts and stops the paint line according to production plan and safety rules.
  • Controls paint operations and equipment (including robots).
  • Checks quality and conformity of the application process according to quality requirements and procedures (PPCM).
  • Applies maintenance level 1 procedures on robots and all paint equipment (guns, jigs, etc.).
  • Minimizes stops of the paint line.
  • In case of defects, contributes to root cause analysis and corrective actions within the shift.
  • Contributes in continuous improvement workshops: proposes measures to improve product and process quality.
  • Follows up and optimizes paint consumption (primer, basecoat, clear coat, hardeners, solvents, rinsing solvents).
  • May relieve fellow team members for their breaks.
