Job summary

DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, is seeking a Shift - Team Lead Builds at our Summerville datacenter location. Responsibilities include overseeing loading/unloading, inventory counts, and rack installation within a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work with various warehouse systems and equipment. On-site role offering competitive hourly pay and comprehensive safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers, including management of shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, ensuring correct part numbers and pristine condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor and install cabling following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools; operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area, adhering to 5s standards.
