Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support residents in our Rhode Island communities. You’ll assist with mobility, daily living activities, and care tasks, while coordinating caregiver schedules and medication programs.

The role emphasizes ethical care, resident and family communication, and collaboration with the care team to promote residents' well-being and comfort.

Qualifications

• State-issued nursing license required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enhance residents' lives by assisting with mobility and daily living activities.
• Assist in scheduling of caregivers and supervising medication program.
• Act as liaison with residents, families, and physicians to maintain positive relationships.

What You Will Do As An LPN/LVN

• Enhance the lives of older adults by assisting them with mobility needs and daily living activities, including housekeeping, bathing, grooming, and routine personal tasks
• Assist in scheduling of caregivers and supervising of medication program
• Act as liaison and maintain positive relations with residents and their families and physicians
• Solve problems and exhibit ethical behavior in partnership with community leaders and your team
• Receive on-the-job training and have opportunities for career growth and advancement
• Must be Licensed Vocational Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing
