The County of San Diego seeks a Sheriff's Emergency Services Dispatcher to manage public safety communications effectively. This pivotal role involves responding to emergency calls, dispatching assistance, and making critical decisions in high-pressure situations. Candidates must have relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and be prepared for a rotating shift schedule.
The Sheriff's Communications Center is recruiting individuals for the position of Sheriff's Emergency Services Dispatcher. We seek candidates capable of handling situations with command, sensitivity, and respect. The Communications Center provides high-quality public safety services to San Diego County residents.
Sheriff's Emergency Services Dispatchers are trained to respond to 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch deputies, and make quick, accurate decisions to ensure safety.
The center is located in Kearny Mesa and operates 24/7, 365 days a year.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: Candidates will undergo background checks and medical screening. Additional investigations may be conducted.
