Job summary

River House Ministries in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Pastor of Congregational Care and Community Life to shepherd the congregation and develop leaders who share in care and discipleship across generations.

The role emphasizes building care networks, leading House Churches, and equipping volunteers while maintaining biblical care, healthy boundaries, and Spirit-led ministry. Regular presence in congregational life and collaboration with church leadership are expected.

Qualifications

Substantial pastoral experience and demonstrated ability to equip caregivers and teams.
Alignment with River House’s theology and charismatic ministry expression.
Ability to translate vision into practical structures and sustained relational ministry.
Strong communication skills and teachable spirit.
Commitment to Safe Church policies and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Shepherd the congregation and develop shared care across generations.
Develop and support a care team coordinating with leaders.
Lead House Churches and equip leaders to multiply ministry.
Coach men’s and women’s ministries to strengthen relational care.
Partner with children’s and youth ministries to connect care and discipleship.
Contribute preaching and teaching as needed; maintain visible pastoral presence.
