Job summary

Channel Partners Solutions is hiring for a hands-on racking installation role, with travel across local and surrounding states. You will install, move, and replace steel racking and shelving, read diagrams, and follow safety policies.

The role may involve lifting heavy items and operating order pickers, forklifts, and scissor lifts. The position offers weekly pay, travel compensation where applicable, and hotel/per diem for travelers, with a W2 employment arrangement and potential full-time

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Willing to travel within local state and surrounding states.
• Ability to read diagrams (blueprints and RIGs).
• Follow safety policies at all times.
• Mechanically inclined with racking installation experience.
• Skilled with hand tools, cordless power tools, and mechanical assembly tools.
• Able to operate order pickers, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
• Comfortable working on a lift up to 20 feet high.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, occasional up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, move, and replace steel racking/cantilevers.
• Assemble storage shelving, rack shelving, structural shelving, and steel shelving systems.
• Replace damaged racking components.
• Move products from old to new racking.
• Assist with other jobs when not performing racking projects.

Minimum Pay

USD $17.00/Hr.

Maximum Pay

USD $18.00/Hr.

What You'll Do

• Install, move, and replace steel racking/cantilevers.
• Assemble storage shelving, rack shelving, structural shelving, and steel shelving systems.

What You'll Bring

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Available to travel within your local state and surrounding states. Able to workdays, nights, and weekends as scheduled.
• Able to read diagrams (e.g., blueprints and RIGs).
• Ensure all safety policies are always followed.
• Mechanically inclined/jack-of-all-trades, or experience with racking installation and demo.
• Skilled with hand tools, cordless power tools, and mechanical assembly tools for handling materials and fasteners.
• Able to confirm accuracy and job quality using established mechanical and safety standards.
• Able to (or willing/able to learn to) operate order pickers, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
• Comfortable working on a lift up to 20 feet off the ground.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
