Tulsa City-County Library is seeking a Shelver to help sort and place returned materials while maintaining neat displays and shelves. You will also provide excellent customer service at the library by connecting customers to the right people, places, and services for their needs.
The position is part-time (16 hours per week) with a schedule Tue/Wed/Thu 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Sat 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Education starts with some high school; no prior experience required. Salary is $11.50 per hour.

Work requires pushing moderately heavy items (up to 50 pounds), lifting up to 25 pounds, and very long periods of walking and/or standing, and frequently requires stooping, stretching and bending. Work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions, e.g. use of safe work place practices with office equipment, and/or avoidance of trips and falls. There are occasional minor discomforts from exposure to less than optimal temperatures (extreme cold or heat) and air conditions due to exposure to the outdoors.
