Job summary

The SPCA of Texas seeks a Medical Supervisor to oversee daily medical operations and ensure the highest quality of care for shelter animals. You will supervise Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Technician Assistants and coordinate with Shelter Veterinarians and senior leadership.

Responsibilities include inventory management, medical treatments, staff coaching, volunteer engagement, and maintaining a clean, humane environment.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary technician experience required.
• Ability to supervise veterinary technicians and assistants.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily medical operations including inventory, treatments, and staff management.
• Supports work of Shelter Veterinarians, Chief Veterinarian, and Senior Manager, Operations.
• Engages volunteers and enhances the volunteer program.
• Represents SPCA of Texas as an ambassador to promote its mission.
