Friends of Switchpoint in Utah is seeking dependable Shelter Resident Support Staff for part-time and full-time shifts (Day 8am-4pm, Evening 4pm-12am, Overnight 12am-8am). You will help create a safe, welcoming environment by assisting with client intake, crisis support, resident engagement, and daily operations.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests of the facility.
• Keep a daily log of all occurrences within the facility for each shift.
• Coordinate transportation and assist with resident needs.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and support management.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and implement Switchpoint’s mission and values.

• Coordinate with management on resident needs (diet, accommodations).
• Update maintenance log with requests.
• Arrange transportation for residents.
• Listen to resident needs and respond appropriately.
• Report concerns to case management and management.
• Perform basic cleaning (public areas).
• Assist with store transactions.
• Monitor cameras and log activity.
• Conduct perimeter checks and safety walk-throughs.
• Escalate security issues to appropriate services.
• Other duties as assigned.

PURPOSE:

Join the Switchpoint team and make a meaningful impact every day. We’re looking for a dependable, energetic, and compassionate professional who is passionate about supporting individuals, families, and veterans experiencing homelessness. In this role, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment by assisting with client intake and support services, crisis intervention, volunteer coordination, medication oversight, program operations, and resident engagement.

Requirements:

Shelter Resident Support Staff

Part-time and/or Full-time

ALL Shifts Available:

Day: 8am - 4pm

Evening/Swing: 4pm - 12am

Graves: 12am - 8am

Responsibilities:

• Understand and implement switchpoint’s mission and values and adhere to all policies andprocedures
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests of the facility
• Keep a daily log of all occurrences within the facility for each shift
• Make notes of any special requirements and needs that residents may have (special diets, ada accomidations, etc.) And coordinate with management to facilitate those needs.
• Update maintenance log with maintenance requests
• Arrange transportation for residents in shuttle vans
• Actively listen to the needs of the residents and act to meet those needs appropriately.
• Report any resident concerns to case management and management.
• Simple cleaning (public bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, etc.)
• Assist with convenience store transactions
• Monitor cameras and log activity
• Complete perimeter checks around the building and walk-throughs in the building to ensure the safety and security of residents. Log and document any concerns.
• Handle security issues/complaints by involving either non-emergency dispatch or 911 for emergency services.
• Other duties as assigned.
