Job summary

You will work with case managers to document updates, intervene in crises using de-escalation techniques, ensure intake steps within 24 hours, and help residents develop life skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides emotional support to residential clients with active listening and non-judgmental care.
• Collaborates with Case Managers and staff on client updates via documentation and communication.
• Intervenes in crisis situations using de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
• Ensures intake procedures are completed for new clients within 24 hours.
• Assists with life skills, daily planning, and organization.
• Monitors shelter safety and cleanliness and performs light housekeeping.
• Transport clients as needed and coordinate with interns/volunteers.
• Provides backup coverage for hotline calls and emotional support.
