Job summary

San Diego Humane Society is hiring full-time Shelter Medicine Associates for our San Diego Campus. The role supports the Community Cat Program and Medical department, delivering exceptional service and helping remove barriers to veterinary care for animals in the community.

Primary duties include administrative support, animal handling, and coordination of vaccine clinics, CSN, and related shelter medical activities. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits and a 4/10 schedule.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• One (1) year experience in customer services/guest relations required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be approved to drive a company or personal vehicle for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Support CCP paperwork and discuss the program with guests.
• Schedule appointments, check in/out guests, coordinate CCP trap rentals.
• Assist with return to field of CCP cats and daily husbandry of CCP cats.
• Provide exemplary customer service and de-escalate guest concerns.
