Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or human service field, and two years’ direct care experience in Human Services preferred; or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Responds to hotline calls, assesses safety and provides safety planning and emotional support
• Conducts interviews and assessments to accept, deny, and refer to hotline callers requesting emergency shelter
• Completes required paperwork and data entry per agency policies and funding guidelines within timelines
• Completes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for quality improvement and grant purposes
• Develops individualized case plans with clients and monitors progress
• Provides crisis intervention services to empower clients to self-sufficiency
• Connects clients with agency and community resources to meet needs
• Attends trainings and participates in team meetings with program staff
