Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in Greensboro, NC is looking for a Stocker to stock shelves, assist customers, and keep aisles clean and orderly.

You will rotate merchandise, ensure accurate shelf pricing, and help maintain a safe, efficient floor environment in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Essential duties include removing boxes from pallets, re-stocking items, completing inspections for HACCP, and promptly reporting low stock to supervisors while maintaining cleanliness and safety on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.
• Rotates merchandise to prevent expiry on shelves.
• Organizes and front faces items on shelves.
• Performs inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Assists in reviewing inventory for rotation to prevent shrinkage and damage.
• Ensures shelf pricing is correct and reflects current pricing.
• Maintains floor cleanliness and safety; handles spills promptly and discards trash properly.
• Notifies supervisors of low stock or out-of-stock items.
