Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Design, Merchandising or related field or equivalent.
• CAD experience strongly preferred.
• Prior project management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, project management, financial acumen and analytic skills.
• Ability to multi-task, collaborate, and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact with associates and management at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Working knowledge of store planning principles and skills.
• May lift/move up to 20 pounds; travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of assigned projects from design to completion.
• Determine department sizes and shelving specs; research local demographics.
• Develop and manage store planning details: plan, schedule, vendor resources.
• Coordinate planograms with shelf tech; validate implementations.
• Use data to maximize traffic flow through proper category placement.
• Provide total store analysis to retailer; update through project.
• Coordinate 3rd party merchandisers and sales staff during resets.
• Define vendor support needs and communicate upfront.
• Direct sales team and store personnel on shelf placement and conditions.
• Ensure store is clean and punch list completed; stay current on trends.
