NSC Technologies is currently seeking (6) Sheetmetal Fitter Journeyperson(s) that are local & non-local for an exciting project in sunny Jacksonville!

Compensation:
Local Rate: $28/hr
Non-Local Rate: $22/hr & $110 Per Diem

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sheet metal repairs and installation on maritime vessels, including Navy Ships, Military Sealift Command ships, and commercial vessels, with 3+ years of experience.
  • Tasks include planning, layout, fabrication, and assembly of sheet metal structures on ships and in shops.
  • Use hand and power tools, operate fabricating machines like shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers.
  • Perform tack welding using SMAW or GMAW processes.
  • Understand measurement systems (US customary and metric) and perform basic arithmetic operations.
  • Require six (6) years of related experience, with at least three (3) years in a maritime environment.
Work Environment

Work in shipyards, aboard vessels, or industrial settings, focusing on pipefitting marine systems. Precision, safety adherence, and teamwork are essential.
