Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in High Point, NC seeks an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and supervise all mechanical activities on assigned projects. You will lead a team of mechanics, ensure work meets specs, budgets, and schedules, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include resource planning, coordinating with managers and engineers, reviewing blueprints, and keeping accurate daily logs and reports.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of mechanical work experience with strong industrial sheetmetal background.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in plumbing is preferred.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, other trades, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and address any issues or changes in project scope.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, progress reports, material usage, and timekeeping.
• Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project, providing practical solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continually improve operations and maintain a competitive edge.

Education Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mechanical work, with a strong background in industrial Sheetmetal.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in plumbing is preferred.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and installation techniques.

• Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
• OSHA 10 construction certification obtained within the last 5 years is required.
