Qualifications

• Sheet Metal fabricates sheet metal products and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Read rulers, tape measurers, metal squares, angle finders, protractors, and other measuring instruments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment in the sheet metal department, including brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, and deburring machines.
• Fill all part requirements to complete rounds for the kitting department.
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Start machines, adjust controls, and make trial cuts to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor operations and adjust to meet specifications.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area.
