Job summary

FOKIS Mechanical is a mechanical contracting company seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Foreman to lead on-site teams for diverse mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC installations. You will oversee a crew, maintain safety standards, and coordinate with project schedules on challenging projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, hands-on foreman experience with up to ten workers, and the ability to manage documents and safety procedures to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10/30 preferred
• Procore understanding and execution
• Journeyman knowledge of the trade and corresponding trade impacts
• Moderate understanding of project budgets and man-loaded schedules
• Direct and oversee site safety and manage project documents
• Journeyman level ability to install sheet metal
• Read, understand and execute CM/GC schedules and develop a tradespecific project schedule
• Trade partner negotiations
• Material ordering, handling and management
• Daily management of 10 tradesmen or less

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of sheetmetal workers on jobsites (Foreman of 10 or less workers - 25% time on tools if less than 8 workers)
• Ensure workers follow safety procedures, adhere to company standards, and meet project deadlines
