Upchurch is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead field crews on commercial construction projects. This hands-on role supervises sheet metal installation, enforces safety and quality standards, and coordinates daily work to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You will read blueprints, manage manpower and materials, mentor apprentices, and collaborate with superintendents and other trades to resolve field issues and maintain workflow. OSHA 30 preferred.

Competenze

• 7+ years of sheet metal experience in commercial construction.
• Previous Foreman or lead-level supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork installation, blueprints and applicable codes.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Position Summary

Upchurch is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead field crews on commercial new construction projects. This hands‑on role is responsible for supervising sheet metal installation activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, coordinating daily work, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. The Foreman will work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades to successfully deliver projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside sheet metal crews on commercial construction projects.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain productivity.

• Inspect work for quality, code compliance, and adherence to project requirements.
• Collaborate with project leadership and other trades to resolve field issues and maintain workflow.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sheet metal experience in commercial construction.
• Previous Foreman or lead‑level supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork installation, blueprints and applicable codes.
• Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate work activities, and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
