Job summary

Quad is seeking a Sheetfed Second Press Operator at our Franklin, WI facility. The role requires operating Heidelberg presses, maintaining quality, and supporting print production across multiple shifts with a $3 shift premium.

Qualifications

• Two years of second press operator experience.
• Experience with Heidelberg 105 or 106 with coater preferred.
• Some perfecting experience.
• Understanding of color.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Eye/hand coordination for adjustments.
• Ability to use computer to ensure product quality.
• Able to lift 10–15 pounds continuously and up to 70 pounds occasionally; stand 8 hours.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts with OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press to customer specifications while maintaining production.
• Safely maintain the press and perform regular maintenance.
• Check ink and paper levels and keep supplies stocked around the press.
• Assist in register and sheet rule-up.
• Follow plant processes and standard operating procedures.
