Job summary

Neff Packaging Solutions located in Simpsonville, KY is seeking an entry-level candidate for a sheet operations support role. You will assist the Sheeter Operator, operate trucks as needed, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment.

The position starts at $16 per hour with a $1 shift differential and includes excellent benefits after 90 days. We provide training, opportunities for internal promotion, and a path to a rewarding career in printing.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sheeter Operator with daily operations.
• Operate hand, fork, and clamp trucks as required and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ensure work area and methods are safe and free from health risks.
• Comply with Neff’s job safety analysis and handling procedures for heavy items and repetitive movements; maintain a clean department.
• Follow all company rules, regulations and safety requirements.
• Stand for the majority of the shift and engage in bending, twisting, and lifting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Assist Sheeter Operator with the daily operations
• Operate hand, fork, and clamp trucks as required and lift up to 40 lbs
• Make certain the work area and methods used are always safe and reasonably free from risk of health problems and injury
• Comply with Neff’s current job safety analysis. This includes addressing the best methods of handling heavy items, and repetitive movements; and seeing that the department is clean and in conformance with all company and government regulations.
• Comply with all company rules, regulations and safety requirements.
• This role requires standing for the majority of the shift as well as bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
