Job summary

ITW's Food Equipment division is seeking a sheet shop helper to support brake operators, deliver parts, unload lasers, and keep the work area clean. This role also offers occasional setup tasks on a drill press, forming machine, shear or punch press under a sheet shop operator.

You should have a High School Diploma or GED, be at least 18, and demonstrate good mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/squat/kneel for shift, and follow written and verbal instructions with reliable

Good mechanical aptitude a must.

Must be able to stand, squat, or kneel for the entirety of the shift.
Good attendance and ability to work safely are necessary.

Responsibilities

Perform job tasks according to schedules, using established safe methods and processes.
This job is working in the sheet shop as an Operator.
This position will include running a drill press, forming machine, operating a shear and/or a punch press, and cleaning and sweeping.
Duties may include the use of tape measure and miscellaneous hand tools.
Work independently towards the goals of the team.
Good mechanical aptitude a must.
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instruction.
