Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets in accordance with project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Ensure precise alignment and secure attachment of drywall to framing structures.
• Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, and priming
• Choosing and mixing paint to match specific colors and finishes
• Applying paint and other finishes with brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Working with various materials, including wood, metal, and drywall
• Conduct thorough inspections of work areas to identify and address any potential issues.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate installation timelines and workflows.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
• Perform finishing tasks including taping, mudding, and sanding to achieve a smooth surface.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood, plywood, and other materials
• Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes
• lnstall doors, windows, cabinetry trim, and molding
• Repair or replace damaged frameworks or structures
• Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
• Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and plumbers as needed
• Follow building codes, safety regulations, and best practices
• Maintain tools and work areas in clean and safe condition

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Experience in drywall hanging and finishing with a proven track record of successful project completion.
• Experience in interior painting
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless integration of drywall installations with overall project timelines.
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment
• Ability to accurately read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Excellent physical condition and stamina
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred:
. Certification from a recognized carpentry apprenticeship program or trade school
. OSHA 10/30 Certification
. Experience with both rough and finish carpentry
. Physical Requirements:
. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
. Standing, bending, climbing, and kneeling for long periods
. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and environments
