Job summary

Tailwind Applied Sciences in Oklahoma City seeks a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator with ductwork experience. You will read blueprints, lay out parts, and fabricate HVAC duct components with precision. Qualifications

• 3+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience, ductwork preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal layout techniques.
• Experience operating hydraulic press brakes (10 ft automated strongly preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
• HVAC duct systems understanding is a plus.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Sheet Metal Fabricator (Ductwork & Layout Specialist)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator with experience in HVAC ductwork fabrication, layout, and operation of hydraulic press brakes (10 ft automated). This position is responsible for accurately reading blueprints, laying out parts, and fabricating high-quality sheet metal products to meet production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Perform layout of sheet metal parts for ductwork and related components
• Fabricate HVAC ductwork, fittings, and custom sheet metal products
• Operate hydraulic press brakes (10 ft automated) and other fabrication equipment
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal components with precision
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with shop team and supervisors to meet production schedules

Required Qualifications
