TITLE: Sheet Metal Technician I

REPORTS TO: Foreman – Sheet Metal

Job Duties / General Requirements

This is an entry-level laborer position with limited to no experience or knowledge in the HVAC industry or sheet metal installation. The role involves less technical work on the job site, such as assisting in the fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of HVAC-related sheet metal products and equipment, as well as maintaining site cleanliness.

1. General site clean-up.
2. Knowledge of dry-side commercial applications and design is preferred but not required.
3. Assist, under supervision, in the fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of HVAC sheet metal products and equipment.
4. Document work by completing paperwork and backup documentation.
5. Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
6. Adhere to safety requirements at all times.
7. Seek to increase personal growth and knowledge of dry-side HVAC applications.
8. Be a self-starter with high energy levels and physical stamina.
9. Ability to stand for long periods.
10. Engage in lifting and moving heavy materials, loading/unloading vehicles, digging, refilling holes, and other assisting activities.
