Four Seasons Kanga Roof in Roseville, MI is hiring a full-time Sheet Metal Technician Foreman. The role leads a crew on roofing projects, coordinates with project managers, and ensures safety and quality standards are met each day.

The candidate will start with a pre-job briefing, manage materials and labor budgets, and maintain a watertight roof while keeping the site clean. Must communicate with contractors and owners and document progress in the CRM system.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sheet metal experience with general roofing knowledge.
• Ability to run a 3–5 person crew effectively.
• Knowledge and skills to install metal roof systems.
• Competence with technology and ability to read and understand work orders.
• Ability to set up ladders independently and work on commercial and residential roofs.
• Capability to work in hot and cold weather and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew and ensure all work meets Four Seasons Kanga Roof's standards.
• Attend pre-job meetings to review work orders, crew size, labor budgets, and material needs.
• Monitor safety per OSHA guidelines and confirm manufacturer specifications are followed.
• Coordinate with the Sheet Metal Superintendent, Project Manager, general contractors, and building owners.
• Ensure the roof is watertight, the site is clean, and tools/materials are secure before leaving site.
• Take photos and log progress notes in the company CRM system.

WHAT YOU'LL DO DAILY:

As a Sheet Metal Technician Foreman, you will leave from your home and head to the assigned job site in Southeast Michigan. You will lead the crew and make sure all work meets Four Seasons Kanga Roof's standards. You will start with a pre-job meeting with the Superintendent or Project Manager to go over work orders, crew size, labor budgets, and material needs. Throughout the day, you will check that all safety standards follow OSHA guidelines, that the quality of work meets manufacturer specifications, and that materials are ready for the next step. You will talk regularly with the Sheet Metal Superintendent, Project Manager, general contractors, and building owners. Before leaving the job site, you will make sure the roof is watertight, the area is clean, and all tools and materials are secure. You will also take photos and add notes in the company's CRM system to record progress.

What We Need From You As A Sheet Metal Technician Foreman:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• 4+ years of sheet metal experience w/general roofing knowledge and skills
