Job summary

Shapes Group Ltd. Co. in Palm Bay, FL is seeking an Intermediate Sheet Metal Technician to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products and structures. You will follow blueprints and engineering drawings, set up machines, and ensure quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include installing hardware per specifications, removing burrs, maintaining a safe, clean work area, and complying with all policies. Prior experience with sheet metal operations and reading charts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow company processes, policies, and procedures.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Experience with inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, gage pins).

Responsibilities

• Install hardware per customer specifications or drawings.
• Remove burrs and polish all material types.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and participate in Lean 6S.
• Follow quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
• Set up machines to form and cut material using press brakes, presses and shear.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
