Qualifications

• Experience in estimation and bidding is preferred.
• Must have exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced takeoffs and input utilizing estimating software.
• Review all bid documents to determine the complete project scope.
• Prepare and present estimate documentation and attend job turnover meetings.
• Track and analyze data to reduce gaps between estimates and actual costs.
• Review completed estimates for thoroughness and accuracy.

Skills

Understanding of the construction bid process and on-screen takeoff platforms

Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software, Trimble/Quickpen

Excellent customer service skills

Good analytical skills and attention to detail
