Adco Roofing & Waterproofing is a leading commercial and industrial roofing and sheet metal contractor. We are seeking to immediately hire an experienced Sheet Metal Journeyman or Apprentice. The successful candidate must demonstrate initiative, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. We offer on-the-job training, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Utilize and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine how and where to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products.
  2. Measure, mark dimensions, and layout materials using tools such as scribes, measuring tapes, calculators, and squares.
  3. Fasten joints and seams in sheet metal with solder, caulk, screws, and metal driver clips, ensuring quality and durability.
  4. Install assemblies of metal roof/wall systems, including pipes, HVAC ducts, flashings, rain gutters, and furnace casings.
  5. Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file, and grind metal surfaces and joints for safety and a seamless appearance.
  6. Ensure safety is a priority during all activities, including tool use and fabrication of sheet metal works.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Math skills.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to carry heavy sheets.
  • Comfortable working at heights, climbing, and working from ladders.
  • Valid CA Driver's License.

Position: Full-time, non-exempt.

Salary: D.O.E. competitive.
