Job summary

Laystrom Manufacturing Company, an ISO 9001:2015 certified custom sheet metal fabrication firm, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead QA/QC in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures products meet customer specifications, safety standards, and applicable quality requirements while collaborating with production, engineering, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in quality management in manufacturing or fabrication.
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge; ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and improve quality control standards and inspection processes.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing, and leadership to align quality objectives.
• Lead investigation and resolution of quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor fabrication processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Use data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
