Job summary

Millennium Metalcraft, Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to ensure parts meet CAD drawings, customer schematics, and dimensional tolerances. You will create and manage RMAs, SCARs, templates, and non-conformances while interfacing with customers on quality issues.

This in-person role in Fremont, CA offers a daytime schedule, quarterly performance bonuses, and benefits including health and dental insurance with 401(k).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a quality control inspector with direct sheet metal experience.
• Experience with Unipoint, JobBoss, Keyence, Amada etc.
• Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge about industry products and processes.
• Basic mathematical arithmetic.
• Excellent oral and communication skills.
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
• Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read CAD Files as well as customer schematics.
• Inspect parts for dimensional tolerances, craftsmanship and cosmetic defects.
• Analyze parts against customer provided drawings and CAD files.
• Create and manage RMAs, SCARs, Templates, and Non-Conformances.
• Interface with customers for all quality related issues.
• Prepare quarterly reports on quality KPIs.
• Annual Calibration Audits.
• Daily, Weekly, Monthly Logs (Machine Maintenance, Audits etc.).
• Work efficiently and in harmony with a team of talented craftsmen & craftswomen.
