Job summary

• Experience ordering sheet metal duct and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure profitability of projects and timely billing and change orders.
• Review job cost, job status, shop manpower and change order reports to reflect profitability.
• Communicate with field project managers and other departments through meetings, memos, emails.
• Oversee materials buyout, job closeouts, and project change orders.
• Attend job-site visits and meetings as needed.
• Ensure proper job setup, contract review, estimated costs and schedule of values.
• Generate project manager reports and attend PM meetings.
• For each project: track submittals, generate purchase orders and negotiate subcontracts/purchases.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for the overall profitability of their projects. Ensure proper timelines and all requirements are met for all projects. Ensuring billing, change orders, etc. are completed in a timely manner for each project. Keeps the field management staff up to date on all project issues.
• Reviews job cost, job status, shop manpower and change order reports to provide analysis monthly. Conducts regular/monthly job cost reviews to accurately reflect project profitability and status of all project issues.
• Communicate effectively with all field project managers, administrative assistants and other departments through meetings, memos, e-mails, etc.
• Oversee special materials buyout process, job-closeouts and project change orders for all projects.
• Attend job-site visits and job meetings as needed.
• Ensure proper job setup, contract review, estimated costs and schedule of values are done in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generates project manager reports and attends project management meetings as appropriate.
• For each project: tracks submittals, generates purchase orders and negotiates subcontracts and purchases.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience

• Experience/Qualifications Required:
• Minimum 2 years of commercial sheet metal experience.
• Experience ordering sheet metal duct and fittings.
