Minth Big and Beautiful Alabama LLC in Gadsden, AL is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Operator for full-time manufacturing duties. You will cut, bend, stamp, and grind sheet metal for energy storage containers, and operate laser cutters, CNC press brakes, and related equipment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of sheet metal experience, a high school diploma or vocational training, and a safety-minded, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Vocational school or high school diploma or above; Mechanical Engineering major preferred.
• 2+ years of sheet metal processing experience; energy storage container, or metal, steel structure industry preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings; familiar with sheet metal unfolding calculations and processes.
• Proficient in operating laser cutters, CNC press brakes, and other primary equipment.
• Responsible and detail-oriented with basic quality awareness and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, stamp, and grind sheet metal components for energy storage containers per process drawings.
• Operate laser cutting machines, CNC press brakes, and shearing machines; maintain machining accuracy.
• Conduct first-article self-inspection and assist QC with in-process inspections.
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance to keep machinery and tooling in good condition.
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area; keep the site clean and organized.
