Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Welding or Mechanical major preferred.
• 2+ years welding and assembly experience; energy storage container or metal welding/assembly background preferred.
• Valid welding operator certificate (high-pressure welding certificate preferred). Reading drawings and welding symbol annotations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld structural components and internal equipment of energy storage containers per drawings and procedures.
• Perform CO2 gas shielded welding, argon arc welding, and manual arc welding; ensure weld quality meets standards.
• Conduct self-inspection and mutual inspection during assembly; promptly report quality deviations.
• Properly use and maintain welding equipment, fixtures, and measuring tools.
• Follow safety protocols; use PPE and maintain 5S on the shop floor.
