LayerZero Power Systems LLC in Aurora, Ohio is seeking a PEM Machine Operator to fabricate sheet metal parts per customer specs. This on-site role involves PEM machine set-up, programming, and ensuring parts meet tolerances while reading blueprints and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience with PEM machines or similar equipment, reads technical drawings, and possesses basic mechanical skills and inspection know-how.

Qualifications

• Operate PEM machines and punch presses according to product specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints to identify PEM fasteners and counts.
• Validate parts meet customer specifications.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and work autonomously.
• Proficient with measurement tools and quality inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate PEM machines based on required PEM style fasteners.
• Upload and execute programs to produce customer products.
• Read blueprints to identify the type and number of PEM fasteners.
• Validate parts meet customer specifications.
• Perform basic inventory counts and tracking.
• Maintain clean workspace and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot production problems and communicate with supervisor.
• Adhere to quality and shop expectations.
