LayerZero Power Systems LLC is seeking a PEM Machine Operator for an on-site role in Aurora, Ohio. You will set up and operate PEM machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet customer specifications.

Requirements include 1+ year of PEM equipment experience, ability to interpret technical drawings, and strong mechanical aptitude. High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling preferred. Benefits include comprehensive, no-cost health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience operating PEM machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and quality inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate the PEM machines based on the type of PEM style fasteners required for the product being run
• Upload and execute programs as required to make customer products
• Read blueprints to identify the PEM style fasteners and quantities
• Validate that the parts meet customer specifications
• Execute basic math like inventory counts and parts completed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Work autonomously and stay on task
• Troubleshoot production problems and communicate with supervisor
• Adhere to quality and shop standards of quality
• Stand for extended periods of time
