$34.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Position Overview

We’re hiring a Level 3 Sheet Metal Mechanic who’s ready to own scopes of work, guide junior mechanics, and be the person foremen count on when the job gets hard. You will interpret drawings, install ductwork, and lead a team on-site. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

1. Interpret and execute field drawings, layouts, and job scopes.
2. Install ductwork, fans, curbs, and kitchen hoods with precision.
3. Direct 1–2 mechanics on task execution.
4. Coordinate with the foreman to anticipate next steps.
5. Ensure code compliance and clean installs.
6. Solve problems in real time without losing momentum.

Qualifications

1. 5–8 years of experience in sheet metal, HVAC, or mechanical installs.
2. Driver’s license, clean record, and ability to work across multiple sites.
3. Deep knowledge of duct installation, hangers, layout, and code.
4. Ability to train apprentices and keep the crew productive.
5. Strong communication and task ownership under pressure.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
