Job summary

Dunhill Staffing Systems is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic in Greenville, SC to join the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team for F-16 aircraft structures.

You will interpret blueprints, lay out, fabricate, assemble and repair sheet metal components, with emphasis on precision drilling, riveting and fastener installation.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and weekend, with training prior to final shift; start date 9/14/2026.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of precision drilling experience.
• Recent sheet metal experience required.
• Experience with F-16 structural components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and layouts to fabricate and assemble sheet metal structures for F-16.
• Perform precision drilling, reaming, riveting, and installation of fasteners.
• Support production shifts and meet training timelines.

Recent sheet metal experience is required

Must be able to start on September 14, 2026

1 Year Contract with Potential for Direct-Hire

You will be the Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team. Our team is responsible for Production build, repair and delivery of F-16 aircraft to our customers.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs and repairs various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies for F16 aircraft utilizing precision measuring equipment.

The Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft structural assembly operation and maintenance to include:

• Precision Drilling/Reaming
• Riveting/installation of various fasteners

Must be able to work any shift.

Must be able to start 9/14/2026

Must be able to work 1st or 2nd or weekend, Will Train on First shift then sent to final shift.

1st- Mon-Thurs- 6:00am-4:30pm

2nd- Mon-Thurs- 4:30pm-3:00am

Possible weekend shift Thurs-Sun 6:00am-4:30pm

Need to have 6 yrs precision drilling experience. Must be flexible to work any shift at the conclusion of training
