Job summary

Grand Rapids, MI – KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an HVAC Sheet Metal Installer for full-time work on commercial projects. You will install ductwork and mechanical equipment, read blueprints, and ensure safety and schedule adherence on site.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of sheet metal installation experience, with basic to journeyman tools, a valid license, and reliable transport. On-site role with growth through paid training and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of verifiable sheet metal installation experience preferred.
• Basic hand tools and power tools required for journeyman level.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week and with others.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installing and directing the installation of mechanical equipment and ductwork
• Work with blueprints, specifications, and drawings
• Inspect work to ensure conformity to specifications and work schedules
• Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites
• Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met
• Coordinate with other trades on site

Requirements
